In-Tip Mix
Home » In-Tip Mix
Gas mixing in tubes increases volume of volatile, mixed gas involved in a “Flashback”. Tube burnout can occur and destroy equipment, causing fire or injuring operators. In case of Miller® | Smith Equipment® tips, In-Tip Mix means that fuel and oxygen mixing occurs in the torch tip, as far downstream and away from the operator as possible.
Miller® | Smith Equipment® In-Tip Mix design means these torches can be used with any fuel gas. The saying “change the tip, change the torch” is not valid here. Each tip is specifically designed to mix and burn the intended fuel gas.
